The 2026 Sligo County Fleadh will take place in Ballymote over the June Bank Holiday weekend. Music, singing, and dance competitions will be held in Coláiste Muire on Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31 May. Trad at the Rock will provide outdoor music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with sessions running in all the pubs throughout the weekend. The Glór na dTonn Ceili Band, All Ireland Champions 2025, will launch a new CD at the Gala Concert in the Coach House Hotel at 7.30pm on Sunday, with local musicians and dancers also appearing. The first fleadh in Ballymote since 2015 will include street entertainment, youth performances, Seomra Gaeilge events, and a special Fleadh Mass, alongside the Gala Concert.
