A 30-strong contingent from Ardee Concert Band competed at the Navan Choral and Instrumental Festival on Sunday, May 17, with 10 solo performers and 20 musicians in ensemble events. The band achieved first-place finishes in the Under-16, Under-19, and Open sections, along with several second-place results in both solo and ensemble competitions. Tadhg Doolan won first place in the Under-16 category, while Hollie Reilly took first in the Under-19 category and Emma Boyle placed second in the same category. Ruby McHugh won first place in the Open category, and Callum Doolan earned second in the Under-12 competition. Ensemble groups secured second place in both Junior Ensemble and Intermediate Ensemble sections.
