Families can enjoy a variety of summer entertainment in Dartford, starting with a screening of Disney's The Lion King on July 20. The Summer Youth Project runs from August 8 to 10 featuring performances by 100 local young talents, singing hits from popular musicals. From August 13, the theatre will present Horrible Histories, highlighting the notorious characters of Georgian and Victorian eras. An interactive children's adventure, Dino Tales, featuring walking dinosaurs, takes place on August 20, followed by the Pop Princesses show on August 27. A pirate-themed adventure is also scheduled for September.
The Lion King live-action remake will be screened from July 20 as part of the Community Cinema initiative by Dartford Borough Council and The Orchard West.
The Summer Youth Project, taking place from August 8 to 10, will feature a cast of 100 performers showcasing numbers from beloved shows like The Wizard of Oz and School of Rock.
On August 13, the theatre will host the acclaimed Horrible Histories production, bringing history to life through gory tales of Georgians and Victorians.
