Actress and Suzanne Ciani performed an improvised piece called Concrete Waves at the Barbican theatre in London and Barcelona's Sonar Festival. They released a live album of both performances via Werkdiscs. Concrete Waves marks the beginning of a new series by Werkdiscs that captures improvised musical conversations between avant-garde artists. Actress' previous solo album, Statik, was released in 2024. The duo plans to perform Concrete Waves at festivals in Nantes, France, and The Hague in the fall.
