Su Pollard, born in Nottingham, began her career in singing at 16 and gained fame with her role as Peggy in the sitcom 'Hi-de-Hi!' from 1980 to 1988. She achieved a UK hit single in 1986 with 'Starting Together' and has appeared in more than 35 stage plays and musicals. In 2023, she received an outstanding achievement award from the UK Pantomime Association. She is set to tour with 'Still Fully Charged' next month and lives in London.
