On November 4-8 the multi-venue, multi-day festival will return once again with a characteristically wide-ranging lineup. "Destroyer's Dan Bejar is a sauntering, theatrical frontman that, in his live performances, delivers cryptic musings often with a drink in-hand. The plush and grandiose Barbican Hall, therefore, could hardly be a more fitting place for Destroyer's Pitchfork London set. The band was in great form when I saw them over the summer at Primavera Porto, this year's Destroyer album Dan's Boogie is very solid, and on support are '00s New York art poppers Fiery Furnaces. What's not to like, eh?"
