Blue Flag and Seaside Awards for 2026 identify the cleanest, safest, and best environmentally managed beaches across Europe. The awards are run by Keep Britain Tidy in England, and the Blue Flag label is globally recognized for beaches, marinas, and inland bathing waters. A total of 128 sites were awarded, including 126 beaches, one marina, and one inland bathing water. Sixty-one beaches met the standards for a Blue Flag award, with recognition across the UK from Devon to Norfolk. Bournemouth Beach received the prestigious Blue Flag, noted for being warm, swimmable, clean, and well managed. The area offers a promenade and footpaths to nearby coastal spots, plus classic seaside amenities.
