"Over the past five years, Hacha has operated as a two-site business, and continuing in our current form with only Dalston is no longer sustainable."
"It's just the end of this particular chapter, but not the end of the story. We will be announcing something very soon."
Hacha, the first agaveria in London, is closing its Kingsland Road location after seven years. Founder Deano Moncrieffe announced the closure on Instagram, stating that continuing with only one site is unsustainable. Hacha is actively seeking a new, larger venue as it has outgrown its current space. Despite the closure, Hacha will participate in six UK festivals this summer and has plans for short-term residencies and pop-ups. The closure marks the end of a chapter, but not the end of Hacha's story.
