Bloom Bloom marks its 20th anniversary over five days starting May 28, running from 9am to 6pm at Phoenix Park. The festival features show gardens, food trucks, wine stations, and more than 65 Irish food and drink exhibitors, including a live kitchen from Neven Maguire and appearances by Donal Skehan and Catherine Fulvio. On bank holiday Sunday, a sold-out women’s 10k mini marathon starts on Fitzwilliam Street, passes through Leeson Street and Merrion Road, and finishes at Lower Baggot Street after 12:30pm. Dublin by Dusk begins this Thursday, extending opening hours for museums, galleries, hotels, and pubs, with later hours at major cultural sites and evening experiences. Forbidden Fruit runs May 20 to 31 at IMMA, and Rumbullion at Wigwam runs May 29 to 31 as a rum festival with workshops and masterclasses.

"This Thursday will mark the inaugural week of Dublin by Dusk - a new initiative from Dublin City Council, the Department of Culture, Fáilte Ireland and Dublin Town where museums, galleries, hotels and pubs will stay longer open in the city. It will also introduce "experiences" like pottery and UV Painting in the dark and evening events in venues like Bewley's and Wren's Urban Nest."
