June Bank Holiday in Dublin - your guide to events happening across the capital

Bloom Bloom marks its 20th anniversary over five days starting May 28, running 9am to 6pm at Phoenix Park. The festival features show gardens, food trucks, and wine stations, with more than 65 Irish food and drink exhibitors, including a live kitchen from Neven Maguire and appearances by Donal Skehan and Catherine Fulvio. On bank holiday Sunday, a sold-out women’s 10k marathon starts on Fitzwilliam Street, runs through Leeson Street and Merrion Road, and finishes at Lower Baggot Street, with 28,000 runners expected after 12:30pm. Dublin by Dusk extends opening hours at major cultural venues and adds evening experiences such as pottery and UV painting. Forbidden Fruit runs May 20 to 31 at IMMA with headliners including Kaytranada, Kettama, Nia Archives, and Joy Crooke. Rumbullion at Wigwam runs May 29 to 31 with rum workshops, games, and masterclasses, transforming the venue into a tropical rum emporium.
