The Palace of Westminster is set to hold late openings for the public on two summer evenings, offering visitors a chance to explore VE-Day themed exhibitions, including significant wartime artifacts and discussions about key individuals involved in the war effort. Scheduled for June 13th and July 11th, these late openings allow guests to experience corridors and halls of Parliament without formal tours. Guests need to be mindful of security protocols regarding personal items and photography rules within the building.
During the late openings, an exhibition will highlight key figures from World War Two who supported Parliamentary democracy, along with talks and significant wartime items.
The late opening of Parliament on 13th June and 11th July allows the public to explore the halls of power outside of guided tours.
