Yinka Ilori MBE's latest public artwork, "100 Found Objects," can be seen along the newly opened riverside path in Fulham. This multi-part artwork incorporates objects native to the area, alongside local plants, creating a tribute to Fulham's horticultural history. Inspired by the Walled Garden of Fulham Palace and early botanist Mary Somerset, the mural also includes lenticular panels that add depth and movement, making the artwork dynamic and interactive. It showcases a blend of art and nature, commissioned by Fulham Pier, a nearby venue.
The recently opened riverside path in Fulham has gained a public artwork by the well-known British-Nigerian artist, Yinka Ilori MBE, called "100 Found Objects."
The design is based on objects found in and around the riverside as well as local plants that were introduced to Fulham in the past.
A key inspiration was the Walled Garden of Fulham Palace, which houses the pioneering horticultural work of Mary Somerset, Duchess of Beaufort.
The artwork also features lenticular panels that shift and move with the viewer's perspective, adding a 3D element that brings the objects within a floral landscape to life.
