The new tube station at Elephant and Castle has successfully completed its main construction phase, with the station box built by Delancey and Multiplex. Although now empty, it awaits funding for completion, offering step-free access and increased capacity upon opening, while also supporting future plans for a Bakerloo line extension to Lewisham.
