The First Communion Mass will be celebrated in Poulfur at 11.30am on Saturday 2rd May and the Mass of Thanksgiving takes place the next day, Sunday 24th May in Templetown at 11.30am. The Parish Pastoral Committee is thanked for organising the Thanksgiving refreshments, and prayers are requested for the children. On the Hook is available in Dillon’s Londis and other nearby shops, and the editor Liam Ryan received an award from New Ross Municipal Council for community dedication and for documenting local history. St Mogues Academy runs sessions in Ramstown for boys and girls aged 4–6, with registration on Foireann and a €40 fee. A clothes collection is scheduled for Friday 12th June from 8am to 10am at Scoil Mhaodhoig Poulfur, and a Country Markets event is set for Saturday 6th June.
