Viking longship to sail through Tower Bridge
Briefly

The Oseberg Viking Heritage Foundation constructed two longships modeled after the archaeological Klåstadskipet from 998. The Saga Farmann sailed from Tønsberg, Norway, touring Europe with some overland transport. This land transport method mirrors historical practices of dragging ships overland. The Saga Farmann will navigate the Thames, passing through Tower Bridge on August 26th at 10pm, and remaining in London for one day. It will depart from London on August 27th, passing through Tower Bridge again at 4pm, highlighting a unique event for Viking enthusiasts.
