Tickets Alert: Open days at the Postal Museum's overflow warehouse
"The curatorial team has been excitedly getting ready to open the doors to our store. We're thrilled that visitors will get a chance to go behind-the-scenes, exploring collections that have been tucked away for many years."
The Postal Museum is reopening its overflow warehouse in Debden after a prolonged closure, offering visitors access to large objects that cannot be displayed at the central London location. Tours consist of an hour-long guided experience led by museum curators, followed by thirty minutes of independent exploration. Visitors can view historic postal items including vans, pillar boxes, and motorbikes. The facility is located a ten-minute walk from Debden Underground Station on the Central Line. Tours are scheduled for April 2nd, April 25th, and May 28th, with sessions at 10am and 2pm. Tickets cost £15 per person and are available for ages twelve and above through advance booking.
