"As the space on top of the tower is quite small, they're offering timed slots throughout the evening of Saturday 1st November from 6pm through to 8:30pm. Once you've climbed up to the top of the tower, you'll have 20 minutes to take in a 360 degree view of the lights of London. Their tearoom will also be open between 6pm - 9pm with seasonal food, hot chocolate, mulled cider and non-alcoholic mulled apple juice available to buy during the evening."
"Your ticket for the viewing platform is timed, so you are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled viewing time. Your ticket cannot be used for another timeslot. As the castle is in the middle of the woodland, they recommend you bring a torch to navigate the path to the Castle and dress warmly for the viewing platform."
Severndroog Castle will open its rooftop viewing platform for an evening trial on Saturday 1 November with timed slots from 6pm to 8:30pm. Each booked session allows 20 minutes on the small rooftop area to take in 360-degree nighttime views of London. The tearoom will be open 6pm–9pm offering seasonal food, hot chocolate, mulled cider and non-alcoholic mulled apple juice. Tickets cost £8.30 and children under 16 must be accompanied. Visitors should arrive at least ten minutes before their slot and cannot swap times. The site is in woodland so torches and warm clothing are recommended. Access is via a spiral staircase; there is no lift and dogs are not permitted upstairs. Bus routes serve nearby stations and limited parking is at The Castle Wood Car Park (SE18 3RU).
