"The redevelopment of Olympia has been a long time in the making, with a £1.3 billion project that has totally overhauled the Victorian exhibition centre in Kensington, set to welcome visitors between now and 2027."
"Upon completion, Olympia will boast a huge 1,575-seat theatre, a massive 3,800-cap music venue called the British Airways ARC, and various dining and accommodation options."
"For the next five years, there will be 16 extra peak-time Mildmay services per weekday running between Clapham Junction and Shepherd's Bush, increasing access to Olympia and Westfield White City."
"Mayor of London Sadiq Khan stated, 'These additional services will provide more capacity, making journeys easier and more comfortable for Londoners.'"
The £1.3 billion redevelopment of Olympia is set to transform the Victorian exhibition center in Kensington, with completion expected between 2024 and 2027. The complex will feature a 1,575-seat theatre, a 3,800-capacity music venue, restaurants, hotels, and a media hub. To support this, 16 additional peak-time Mildmay line trains will run between Clapham Junction and Shepherd's Bush, increasing services by 20% in the mornings and 33% in the afternoons/evenings. This initiative aims to improve access to Olympia and nearby areas.
