The Rocky Mountaineer train is rebranding to Canyon Spirit, expanding its luxury travel routes to include Salt Lake City starting April 21, 2026. This new three-day journey includes stops in Moab, Utah, and Glenwood Springs, Colorado, featuring scenic views enhanced by panoramic glass ceilings and outdoor viewing platforms. Passengers will enjoy gourmet meals with locally sourced ingredients while engaging in activities led by dedicated staff. The rebranding marks an exciting opportunity for travelers looking to explore the beautiful landscapes of Utah further.
The additional day of train travel will traverse the mountain passes of eastern Utah and the open vistas of the Great Basin while connecting to the urban hub of Salt Lake City.
We could not be more excited to bring our Canyon Spirit train to Salt Lake City, and to expand our Rockies to the Red Rocks route further into the beautiful state of Utah.
