Police brace as huge Gaza protest and counter-demo to take place in central London

The Palestine Coalition organised the march, and fourteen coaches of protesters will arrive from across the UK, gathering at Victoria Embankment at midday before marching. The Metropolitan Police imposed conditions on route, assembly and timing to minimise disruption and maintain public order. A counter-protest by Stop The Hate is also planned. Israel's cabinet ratified a ceasefire and the agreement includes phased hostage releases and humanitarian aid access.
