Mayfair street now marked with Royal signs and floral tribute
Briefly

New street signs have appeared in Mayfair on Bruton Street to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II, who was born at 17 Bruton Street on April 21, 1926, and spent her first year there. The Royal Household approved the design, which features the Lily of the Valley, one of the Queen's favourite flowers from her Coronation Bouquet. In addition to the street signs, there are two plaques on the building, but an English Heritage blue plaque will only be installed after 2042 due to standard rules for commemorating individuals.
