A colorful six-storey animated mural has been created on a housing block in Walthamstow, marking a significant addition to Priory Court Estate's public art. Designed by artist INSA, in collaboration with the Digital Story Company and Wood Street Walls, the mural is the first permanent artwork in the estate's 80-year history. It incorporates designs rooted in stories and ideas from more than 60 residents, while also including hand-sewn features by the Bees Knees group. Young residents engaged in learning painting and animation techniques, contributing to its creation and promoting community involvement.
