The race starts at 9am and has a cut-off at 2pm. Entrants are organized into eight waves split across four pens at the start. Pen letters run from A through H. Runners can only move to a different pen if that pen starts after their allotted time, such as A and B joining C and D, while later pens cannot move up. The race starts and finishes at Hackney Marshes, and runners can be tracked using the event’s tracking method.
