
"The incident occurred at around 5.10pm on Tuesday February 3, with the driver of the vehicle failing to stop at the scene. Kilburn High Road was cordoned off by police both ways between Willesden Lane and Quex Road after the incident. The driver, 57, was later found by police and was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision."

At around 5.10pm on Tuesday February 3 a vehicle struck a young boy on Kilburn High Road; the driver initially failed to stop. Police cordoned Kilburn High Road both ways between Willesden Lane and Quex Road. The 57-year-old driver was later located, arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop, and remains in custody pending further enquiries. The Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit appealed for witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage.
