Blackburn Rovers' owners, Venky's, are not looking to sell the club despite frustrations from fans regarding the management of the team. COO Suhail Pasha and CEO Steve Waggott emphasized that there have been no genuine offers to buy the club in Waggott's 7.5 years at the helm. Rovers are currently 11th in the Championship but are struggling with a six-match winless streak. The club's management is under pressure from fans who have protested against their ownership and performance, yet the owners maintain a desire to support the team.
Pasha commented, "The last time myself and [CEO] Steve Waggott spoke, they didn't want to sell the football club. They want to support us in the best possible way."
Waggott noted, "Not in my seven-and-a-half years. You get certain whispers from certain people... put an official offer in and show us the proof of funding."
