MK Dons appoint Warne as new manager
Briefly

MK Dons has appointed Paul Warne, the former manager of Derby County and Rotherham United, as their new head coach following Scott Lindsey's dismissal. Warne, who previously achieved four promotions from League One, aims to realize the team's potential under the current ownership. He expresses excitement about the project's future and will be joined by Richie Barker as his assistant coach, marking another leadership change for the club this season after earlier switches in management.
The potential of the team under the ownership of Fahad [Al Ghanim] and the Board is truly limitless, and I'm extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to manage the side over the coming years.
This is an amazing project, and we're so excited to drive it forward.
Warne has won four promotions from League One, three with Rotherham and one in charge of the Rams last season, but he was relieved of his duties at Pride Park in February.
He becomes the third permanent appointment at MK Dons this season after Mike Williamson left to join Carlisle United in September to be replaced by Lindsey.
