Brighton's Vidosic hopes to honour late father in FA Cup final
Rado Vidosic, Brighton’s head of women’s and girls’ coaching, died in January at age 64 after a cancer battle. He had joined the club a year earlier and was Dario Vidosic’s father. Dario missed a month of the Women’s Super League season on compassionate leave, returning in February to help Brighton finish strongly, reach seventh place, and win their first FA Cup final. On Sunday at Wembley (15:00 BST), Dario will lead the team with his family watching. Dario credits his father’s influence and notes, aiming to play well and celebrate him.
