All-rounder Higgins extends stay at Middlesex
"I'm really happy to have committed to playing for Middlesex for the foreseeable future. It's an honour to be a part of the team that gave me my first opportunity in professional cricket."
"Ryan is a quality cricketer regarded as one of the best all-rounders in the country and has been a top performer for a number of years now."
Ryan Higgins has extended his contract with Middlesex, where he has been a key player since returning in 2023. Last season, he took 42 County Championship wickets and was the leading run-scorer for Middlesex, averaging 41.52. In 2024, he was named player of the season with an impressive average of 70.81. Middlesex's director of cricket praised Higgins as one of the best all-rounders in the country. The team is set to begin their County Championship Division Two campaign against Gloucestershire on April 3.
