Aberdeen are reported to be in talks with three Kilmarnock players amid speculation about Motherwell manager Jens Berthal Askou’s potential move to Toulouse. Aberdeen are described as leading the race to sign midfielder Brad Lyons and centre-half Lewis Mayo, while remaining in contention for Ayrshire midfielder David Watson. Inverness Caledonian Thistle are said to be in advanced discussions with Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie, who has been offered a new two-year deal including coaching experience but wants improved terms.
