Jewish organizers are increasingly confronting Trump: The repression is growing, but so is the resistance'
Briefly

During Columbia University's recent commencement, a group of Jewish alumni protested against the university’s investments in Israel and its handling of free speech regarding pro-Palestinian views. The intergenerational gathering included graduates from over 60 years ago and aimed to express discontent with perceived antisemitism accusations against criticism of Israel. They condemned the university's actions and voiced a sense of duty to support marginalized students facing violence. Some alumni planned to destroy their diplomas, signaling strong opposition to Columbia’s policies surrounding Israel and the treatment of dissenting voices on campus.
