Top London barrister suspended over Jeffrey Epstein links
"Matthieu de Boisseson, a barrister at Littleton Chambers, has had his membership at the chambers paused after emails surfaced showing communication with Epstein. De Boisseson told the Standard he denies any wrongdoing. It marks one of the latest developments in the ongoing international fallout following the release of more than three million documents in the latest Epstein file drop earlier this week."
"In one email from April 2015, the French lawyer suggests that Epstein meet with Jean-Luc to discuss the present situation, and perhaps explore the conditions of a way out. I told Jean-Luc that I was not willing to act as a lawyer but just as a friend, by expressing my views and suggestions on an entirely confidential basis, [sic] the email reads."
"The emails indicate Epstein offering to reimburse the lawyer for his travel expenses. In another email, Brunel writes to de Boisseson in French saying: I'm going to take care of my libido. Kyiv is a good clinic. The lawyer responds: Perfect! You're doing a great job, dear guru. The pair then appear to discuss in French a woman who Brunel says wants a child."
Matthieu de Boisseson, an associate barrister at Littleton Chambers, has had his membership suspended pending a full investigation after emails and images linked him to Epstein and modelling scout Jean‑Luc Brunel. The Littleton Chambers website no longer displays de Boisseson's image. Correspondence spans several years and includes an April 2015 email where de Boisseson suggested Epstein meet Brunel and stated he would act as a friend rather than as a lawyer, on a confidential basis. The emails show Epstein offering to reimburse travel expenses and include exchanges about medical treatment and a woman Brunel said wanted a child. De Boisseson denies wrongdoing.
