The jury in the OpenAI case has ruled against Elon Musk - Engadget
"“Mr. Musk isn't here today. My clients are,” Savitt told the jury during closing arguments. “Mr. Musk came to this court for exactly one witness: Elon Musk. Now he's in parts unknown.” Parts unknown, in this case, turned out to be by Trump's side for his diplomatic trip to China."
A jury ruled against Elon Musk after three weeks of testimony, finding Sam Altman and Greg Brockman not liable. The jury determined the statute of limitations had already passed when Musk sued the executives. Musk’s lawyers attempted to portray Altman as dishonest, referencing an unflattering profile and pressing him on honesty. Altman said he believed he was honest, then amended his answer after questioning. Altman also denied seeing testimony from past OpenAI employees, including Mira Murati, who described him as saying different things to different people. Musk appeared combative during questioning and was absent during later proceedings despite a judge’s order, with his absence attributed to a diplomatic trip.
