Several thefts and burglaries reported in Los Gatos
"PETTY THEFT: 10:18 a.m. on Union Avenue. Someone stole a black and gray Trek FX1 bicycle. The total loss is around $800. PETTY THEFT: 2:46 p.m. at 7-11 on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman said her boyfriend's Uber took off with his belongings. The loss was about $500 and consisted of a bag, keys, Airpods, charger and clothes. She said she tried to contact Uber, but no one had responded to her."
"PETTY THEFT: 6:55 p.m. at Oak Meadow Park on Blossom Hill Road. Between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., a suspect broke into a woman's car and stole her wallet, which had her driver's license, health insurance card, credit cards and some cash. At around 3:30 p.m., the suspect made a $1,600 purchase on the woman's credit card at the Apple store. The woman cancelled her cards to prevent further purchases."
Multiple thefts and burglaries were reported across town. A black and gray Trek FX1 bicycle was stolen on Union Avenue with a loss around $800. At a North Santa Cruz Avenue 7-11, a woman's boyfriend's belongings disappeared from an Uber, totaling about $500. A blue e-bike was taken from a parking garage and later located via an Airtag on Alberto Way. A car at Oak Meadow Park was broken into and a wallet with ID, insurance, credit cards and cash was stolen; a $1,600 Apple Store charge occurred before cards were cancelled. Additional incidents included a possible Vineyard Court burglary, a stolen 2007 Mercedes CL550, and an attempted auto burglary at Double D's where suspects fled in an SUV.
