"A new announcement from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, which regulates gambling, explains how 22 people will no longer be allowed to gamble in the state, as they've been placed on various Involuntary Exclusion Lists. When people are added to these lists, it means they're no longer allowed to gamble in a casino in the state, via an online betting site regulated by the Board, or at a Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) location."
"According to the gaming control board, this includes a female patrol who left two children, aged eight and nine, in a hotel room for 7 hours 41 minutes while she gambled at table games. Another woman is accused of having left three children, aged two, six, and 12, in a vehicle in the parking lot for 29 minutes while she gambled at slot machines and table games."
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board placed 22 people on Involuntary Exclusion Lists, banning those individuals from casinos, state-regulated online betting sites, and Video Gaming Terminal locations. Five adults were added to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion list for allegedly leaving minors unattended at casino properties while they gambled, with incidents including children left alone in hotel rooms and vehicles for periods ranging from 17 minutes to 7 hours 41 minutes. Twelve others were placed on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List and five people were added to the Involuntary Interactive Exclusion List for alleged iGaming or sports wagering fraud. The total number on the Board's exclusion lists now stands at 1,491.
