The partner is pursuing a case against the force alleging a breach of her constitutional rights. The High Court is hearing a case brought by Sinead Warren. Warren was at an address in Dublin 8 in September 2016 when gardaí executed a search warrant on the apartment. Gardaí found Warren with her long-term partner, Detective Garda Joseph Kavanagh. The printed documents are claimed to be relevant to the constitutional-rights allegation.
