The former mother-in-law of slain Florida law professor Dan Markel asked Wednesday to delay her trial on charges she helped orchestrate his murder, citing copious discovery produced in recent weeks by the prosecution.
In the last two weeks, they have received more than 100,000 emails and have had to purchase software to try to go through them quickly, Zelman said. The state has also produced more than 30 calls from a wiretap in this new investigation.
