"Applicants who applied for one of the current Eastern District of New York vacancies should email bankruptcy_judge_application@ca2.uscourts.gov if they wish to also be considered for the Southern District vacancy, the court advises. Qualified applicants should be in good standing with at least one state bar, or Washington, D.C. or Puerto Rico. Bankruptcy judges are paid $227,608, per the court's notice. Applications are available on the court's website."
