In 2024, an investigation was launched into an unusual insurance claim involving a Rolls-Royce Ghost allegedly damaged by a bear. Surveillance footage and photos raised suspicions, leading to a biologist's conclusion that the animal was a human in a bear suit. Similar claims about two Mercedes vehicles were also discovered. A bear costume and a meat shredder claw were found during searches. Three individuals received 180-day jail sentences and restitution orders, while a fourth awaits a court hearing.
