The Games featured the highest number of out LGBTQ+ athletes in Winter Olympics history, making Team LGBTQ+ the 19th largest contingent. Competitors represented many countries, and Swedish freestyle skier Elis Lundholm became the first trans man to compete at the Winter Olympics, placing 25th in qualification round two with scores of 12.05 and 59.22.
