"I think regardless of being an ally, just on a personal level I'd say 80 per cent of my success is down to the gays. Like, not even just from a fan-based perspective, my team around me, the people I grew up with, the people in my life when I moved to London, my close friends,"
"They've made me a better artist. Like I would not be where I am today were it not for people from that community. Even without the allyship aspect of it, I just owe a lot to them."
"It means everything to me,"
JADE has doubled down on staunch support for the LGBTQ+ community and attributes roughly 80 per cent of her success to queer fans, friends and colleagues. She says people from the LGBTQ+ community have literally shaped her, taught her a great deal, and made her a better artist, and that she owes a lot to them beyond allyship. JADE has been vocal about queer issues since her Little Mix days and has become more visible in LGBTQ+ spaces since launching a solo career in 2024. At Mighty Hoopla 2025 she led a crowd chant against JK Rowling and encouraged a "F*** You" chant before performing "FUFN (F*** U For Now)".
