"The unidentified man can be seen punching Aparicio once while they are on the ground before kicking them in the face when they attempt to get up,"
"I really feel like the longer he goes un-arrested, the more bold he's gonna become, and he's already said we should all die,"

Supporters have continuously decorated sidewalks outside the Orlando gay club where a mass shooter killed 49 mostly LGBTQ and Latino clubgoers. The state Transportation Department under Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis painted over a rainbow crosswalk that served as a tribute, prompting continued displays of transgender and rainbow flags and chalk art. A man reportedly tore away flags and assaulted a nonbinary protester, Cait Aparicio, forcibly ripping a flag, punching Aparicio on the ground and kicking their face as videos show. Aparicio believes the attacker had repeatedly driven by, harassing protesters. Police have not yet arrested the individual, fueling fear of escalating threats.
