She officiated 154 weddings during the Forever is a Feeling Tour, including 120 between queer people. Dacus offered ceremonies as an alternative for couples anxious about potential rollbacks to marriage equality under Donald Trump's presidency. As a registered officiant she conducted ceremonies onstage across various U.S. cities. The tour coincided with the confirmation of a romantic relationship with bandmate Julien Baker. Dacus described the ceremonies as an honor and condemned state threats to marriage equality.
