London's only LGBTQ+ cinema is staging an outdoor movie festival this weekend

The Arzner Cinema in the Square will present queer and queer-friendly films in Bermondsey between Saturday 23 and Monday 25 August, coinciding with the bank holiday weekend. The debut event from The Arzner cinema & cocktail bar, which opened in Bermondsey Square in March, will screen four films each day from midday, with earlier films aimed at families and later films for adults. Twelve films include mainstream favourites and queer titles such as Call Me By Your Name and Kinky Boots. Screenings use a 15 square metre LED screen with wireless headphones, allocated seating, subtitles, and drinks and snacks available. £5 tickets are available via OutSavvy and TheArzner.com.

The debut event from The Arzner cinema & cocktail bar, which opened in Bermondsey Square in March, will see four films screened each day from midday onwards. Earlier films will be more focused around family-friendly stories, while later films will be for the adults.
All the films on the lineup are in line with The Arzner's mission to spotlight LGBTQ+ stories. A total of 12 films will be screened over three days. Included in the lineup are fan favourites such as Mamma Mia!, The Devil Wears Prada, and Barbie. The lineup also includes queer favourites such as Call Me By Your Name, Kinky Boots, and Bottoms. Meanwhile, Shrek 2, Finding Dory, and Encanto are also being shown.
Films will be shown on a 15 square metre LED screen. Attendees will be provided with wireless headphones as well as allocated seating for ticket holders. Screenings will also include subtitles while drinks and snacks will be served by The Arzner.
