Cutting HIV programs would reduce access to care for people living with chronic conditions, low-income families, and uninsured communities nationwide. Activists including Javier Muñoz, who has lived with HIV for more than 20 years, and Peppermint, a transgender performer and advocate, will lobby Congress in Washington, D.C., during the U.S. Conference on HIV/AIDS.
