As Ireland commemorates a decade of marriage equality, an estimated 12,500 people marched in a vibrant parade, while around 100,000 attended a related festival. Despite the celebration, participants voiced concerns over companies withdrawing support due to US President Trump’s anti-diversity policies. Attendees like Andrija Solvarevic and Albert Maia highlighted a feeling of regression in LGBTQ+ rights. Young supporters, such as Liam from Dublin, joined to advocate for their diverse friends, emphasizing the importance of respect and acceptance within communities.

The government support it in a way because it has to but there is not much visibility from private companies and very limited support from celebrities. So when I hear people say 'pride has become very commercialised', I disagree. I thought it was remarkable that so many big companies had come out in support of pride here.
