Technical Sergeant Alyx Anguiano served in the U.S. Air Force for over 15 years, following a family legacy. She deployed to the Middle East, ran operations, and trained approximately 500 weapons specialists. Anguiano began her gender transition in 2016 and served openly as a transgender woman, finding effectiveness as a leader. However, after the return of restrictive policies under Trump, she was put on administrative leave and faced involuntary separation, jeopardizing her military career and personal achievements.
