Winklevoss twins put their Bird Streets home back up for lease at $110,000 a month
"Their L.A. home has slightly less than 8,000 square feet of interior space with glass pocket doors that slide open to take in the cityscape views and a courtyard. A home theater, a bar, an office, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms are among the living spaces, which extend outdoors to patios and decks."
"The brothers co-founded HarvardConnection, which later was named ConnectU. They received a $65-million cash-and-stock settlement in 2008 over claims that Mark Zuckerberg used their idea to create Facebook."
The Winklevoss twins have placed their Hollywood Hills West contemporary home available for long-term lease at $110,000 per month, reduced from an earlier $150,000 asking price. The nearly 8,000 square-foot property features five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a home theater, bar, office, glass pocket doors with cityscape views, courtyard, patios, decks, and an infinity-edge pool with spa on one-third acre grounds. Underground parking accommodates four vehicles. The brothers purchased the property in 2012 for $18 million. The listing coincides with their announcement of Gemini Trust Co., their new Bitcoin exchange. The twins gained prominence after receiving a $65 million settlement in 2008 regarding Facebook's origins.
