Slash of Guns N' Roses fame lists his rockin' Beverly Hills villa
Rock and roll icon Slash and his wife Perla Hudson have listed their Beverly Hills villa in the guard-gated Mulholland Estates for $10.995 million. The 11,000-square-foot Tuscan-inspired residence showcases distinctive rock star aesthetics with alligator and cheetah print furnishings, crystal pirate ship chandeliers, and a lower-level nightclub with DJ booth and screening room. The home includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a recording studio, formal living and dining areas, and a family room with wet bar. Outdoor features encompass a swimming pool, spa, skate ramp, organic vegetable garden, and canyon views across three-quarter acres. Slash and Hudson purchased the property for $7.3 million in 2009 and are currently divorcing. Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Previews International represents the listing.
"The one-of-a-kind residence in the guard-gated Mulholland Estates lives up to its owner's rock star status with alligator print wallpaper, cheetah print rugs and crystal chandeliers fashioned as pirate ships. The home features a two-story entry, public areas with patterned wall treatments and floor-to-ceiling mirrors."
"Clad in black ceilings, walls and carpet, a lower-level lounge features a nightclub, a DJ booth, a wet bar and a screening room with stadium seating. A separate recording studio has a bathroom and private patio."
"Outdoors, the landscaped grounds center on a swimming pool and spa, set off by canyon and valley views. A large outdoor living room with a fireplace, a skate ramp and an organic vegetable garden complete the three-quarter-acre setting."
