LA Galaxy recently secured their first back-to-back wins of the 2025 MLS season, lifting their confidence ahead of an upcoming match against Austin FC. After a slow start, the Galaxy improved their record with victories over the Vancouver Whitecaps and D.C. United, now moving closer to escaping the bottom of the Western Conference. While Austin FC struggles with their performance, having won only two of their last 12 matches, LA Galaxy's head coach Greg Vanney expressed optimism about his team's growing confidence and solid performances despite past disappointments.
"The confidence is good," he said. "The spirits are high. For a little while now, since coming off the Eastern coast swing, by and large, we've been pleased with a lot of our performances."
"The guys are confident as we're starting to see games out. We held steady [against D.C.], took the three points, and we move onto the next one."
