Blue Real Estate Management, based in Pacific Palisades, acquired the historic Pacific Southwest Trust & Savings Bank building located at 234 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena for $11.5 million. The eight-story, 116,000-square-foot structure was the largest commercial building in Pasadena when completed in the 1920s. Designed by the architectural firm Curlett & Beelman in the renaissance revival style, the building features granite, brick, and terra cotta exterior elements, with interiors showcasing marble, wood, and Florentine-style painted surfaces. The building underwent renovation during the previous decade. Blue Real Estate Management acquired the property on behalf of investor clients, with the transaction facilitated by Diversified Commercial Investments representing the buyer and Cushman Realty Corp. representing the seller.
